He also oversees the IT budget, all technical development, and the Energetics Technology Center web site. Mr. Hazelwood comes to the Energetics Technology Center after 10 years in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. “It is great to have Dylan on board here at ETC,” said Mr. Bob Kavetsky, Chief Executive Officer for the Energetics Technology Center. “He and I have worked together for several years, through my association with the University, and his expertise will be well utilized here.” Mr. Hazelwood earned his Bachelor of Applied Computing from the University of Tasmania at Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. The Energetics Technology Center is a private, non-profit enterprise dedicated to growing science and technology in Southern Maryland. It focuses on workforce and economic development in the region and is a catalyst for energetics research and development.
