LINDA REDWINE-BELL NAMED EDUCATION OUTREACH MANAGER FOR ENERGETICS TECHNOLOGY CENTER
La Plata, Md., March 24, 2009 – Linda Redwine-Bell has joined the Energetics Technology Center as its Education Outreach Manager. In this capacity, Ms. Redwine-Bell will be responsible for education outreach efforts designed to stimulate, support and grow science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs in Southern Maryland and across the state.
Ms. Redwine-Bell comes to ETC with over 30 years of experience in the education field. Prior to joining ETC, Ms. Redwine-Bell served as the Youth Education Support Director and School Liaison Officer at Fort Meade, Maryland, where she was responsible for providing education support services to military families and their children. During her tenure at Fort Meade, Ms. Bell worked with several school districts to include Anne Arundel County Public Schools, Howard County Public Schools and Prince George’s County Public Schools. She also served on several advisory boards, including Governor O’Malley’s Task Force on Educational Issues Affecting Military Children, and forged formal partnerships between multiple school districts and the military installation.

Ms. Redwine-Bell received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. She received her Master of Arts degree from Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, North Carolina. She is also a graduate of the Army Management Staff College, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Energetics Technology Center is a private, non-profit enterprise dedicated to growing science and technology in Southern Maryland. It focuses on workforce and economic development in the region and is a catalyst for energetics research and development. Energetics Technology Center is currently based in La Plata, Maryland.
